Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is open 10:30 to 5:00 seven days a week. It opens for the season a week before Memorial Day and closes on Columbus Day. At the lighthouse, docents are available to give a short talk on the history and you will have an opportunity to climb the tower. A small gift shop is located in the tower as well. Donations are encouraged and all money donated goes to restoration projects on the tower.
The lighthouse is located in Lighthouse Park which is a town park. The park is open 9:00 to 5:00 seven days a week. Once in the park, there is a museum and an art gallery as well as beautiful grounds to walk around and a picnic area. There is a $3.00 per person charge at the gate when the park is open. There is no charge before 9:00 or after 5:00. The tower is owned by the US Coast Guard and operated by volunteers from the Friends of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. There is no entrance fee to visit the lighthouse tower.
