Dickerson's Lake Florida Resort was started in 1924 by Bob's great grandfather. The resort is located on the east side of Lake Florida which means we have a perfect view of the beautiful sunsets. 13 cabins ranging in size from 1-5 bedrooms stretch out along the shore of Lake Florida. The beach is level with a gradual slope to the water.

Dickerson's Resort is located 100 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul, 10 miles north of Willmar or 6 miles west of Spicer, MN. Sibley State Park is just 5 miles north of the resort.

At the resort we have paddle boat, kayaks, canoe, hydro-bikes, bicycles, tricycles and wagons all free of charge. We also have boats with motors and a pontoon for rent. 3 jungle gym/swing sets are a hit with all of the children, young and old.

While staying at Dickerson's Resort there are many things to do in the area. Golf at 5 courses within 20 minutes, shop the local specialty shops, antique shops or take in a Stingers Baseball game. Many guests from other states also take in a Twins game or visit the Mall of America just 2 hours away.

Reservations can be made for as little as 2 nights in the spring and fall and generally are by the week during the prime summer weeks.
