Come visit the crossroad of the Indian world! home of the worlds biggest smoke able pipe Our home base is the old Rock Island train station built in 1892, In 1935 Pipestone had 5 passenger train stations and until 1953 the home of the pipestone indian school. we have a beautiful gift shop fill with Native American art and crafts as well as art supplies. come visit and maybe spend a few days and carve some pipestone from pipestone national monument maybe get a guided tour on the quarries our Tribal folks have used for over 2,000 years to get the stone for our pipes
