The Red Ants Pants Music Festival was founded in 2011. It is designed to bring people together and support the Red Ants Pants Foundation. Our 501(c)3 non-profit is dedicated to women’s leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities. We use proceeds from the festival to fund our grant cycle and run our timber skills and women’s leadership events. The festival was founded and is produced by Red Ants Pants owner Sarah Calhoun. Yes, a little Made in the USA pants company started a music festival. Not the usual path for small business, but why not?
