Rock on! We will take you and your party rock climbing - all ages and abilities welcome. No experience necessary. Advance classes in anchor building and lead climbing (sport or trad) also available. We provide all equipment and a professional guide who will encourage (but not push) you. This is a private lesson/outing for your party only. We will tailor the experience to your desires and ability levels. We move at your speed. Learn to tie the knots, belay (hold the safety line) and techniques for efficient and effective rock climbing. We will provide multiple ropes to climb so that each party member can seek his/her own level of challenge and adventure.
Most of our climbing trips go to a location near Stryker, Montana. After a short drive from Whitefish (30 minutes) and a 5 minute walk in the lush Kootenai National Forest, you will reach the beautiful Stillwater Canyon. The Stillwater River has carved out this gorgeous climbing site. Climbing can take place on the canyon walls (30 to 60 feet tall) on either side of the river.
Sign up for either an all-day or half-day adventure. Rock climbing is a great team building activity for couples, families, clubs or corporate outings (up to 4 dozen climbers).
