For thirty-six years, the second Saturday in August has meant huckleberry pie, huckleberry treats, arts, crafts and music on the shores of beautiful Swan Lake. The 36th annual Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival will get underway with a pancake breakfast starting at 8 am. The festival will run from 8 am until 4 pm.
Morning activities include the breakfast and Huckleberry Baking Contests for adults and children. The arts and crafts fair featuring more than 50 vendors offering a wide array of handicrafts, gifts, Montana-made products, food and country-made delicacies opens at 9 am. The Ashley Creek Ramblers featuring Roy Wilhelm will play from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. There will also be children's games and activities, a silent auction, raffles and a grand prize drawing in the afternoon. Admission is FREE.
