The Santa Fe Botanical Garden is a new learning landscape that features traditional and indigenous plants and sustainable land use and garden practices, as well as showcasing fine arts, including theater, music and sculpture.
Opened in 2013, the Garden celebrates the relationships among Santa Fe\'s unique cultures and landscapes through a xeric garden featuring local cacti and other native plants; a traditional orchard and courtyard garden; Pinyon-Juniper woodlands; functional and decorative stone work; an ethno-botanical garden that explores the traditional uses of plants in Northern New Mexico; and an outdoor amphitheater that is a gathering place for events and performances.
