Abbey’s Cottage is a very private place in the Heart of Cooperstown. Built in the mid-19th century, the “Village’s Tinsmith Shop” was converted in 1992 to a modern private Cottage in back of the main house and offers all the conveniences of home.

Located in Cooperstown Village, it is one block from downtown shopping and Doubleday Field, and two short blocks from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Leave your car and walk to downtown locations, or take the trolley and ride to the Farmers’ Museum and Fenimore Art Museum. The Cottage is located less than 5 miles from Cooperstown Dreams Park.

There is a large living room with cable TV, a large bedroom with 1 Queen and 1 full-size bed, and a fully equipped kitchen with an outside deck. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and has a full size washer and dryer.

Abbey’s Cottage is particularly friendly to the business person, since it has a full size desk and convenient outlets for computer equipment. Smoking is permitted on the deck only. We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.
