Artisans' Loft is a unique fine art and specialty gift gallery located just 25 minutes east of anywhere in the Greater Rochester area of upstate New York. Founded in 2005, this eclectic gallery boasts an impressive collection of fine art in all mediums and a broad price range.
Artisans' Loft features the work of over sixty local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists. The gallery has fast become upstate NewYork's premiere and most popular fine art gallery along the Seaway Trail in Wayne County of the FInger Lakes Region. It welcomes visitors from near and far on a regular basis and invites international travelers traveling independently or with a tour. Tours can be arranged by special appointment on any day of the week by emailing or calling.
The gallery is situated in the heart of New York Apple Country and along the Lake Ontario Wine Trail. The immediate area is dotted with scenic producing orchards and farm markets. It is alive with cidery, wine, craft beer and distillery tours at nearby destinations. Artisans' Loft is located just 35 minutes north of the New York Wine and Culinary Center in Canandaiga and is also in close proximity to Finger Lakes Wine Country, a world-class wine producing region with three distinct wine trails. It is also just 40 minutes north of the recently opened Del Lago Resort and Casino in nearby Waterloo (Tyre), New York.
Artisans' Loft is located in Historic Pultneyville, a quaint lakeside hamlet steeped in history dating back to the War of 1812. The hamlet is filled with the charm and ambiance reminiscent of any small New England town.
The gallery resides in The Landing at Pultneyville, a prominent circa 1858 landmark that was lovingly renovated in 2004 which features the original walls, ceilings and beams in the gallery space. This building itself is one of 37 architecturally significant Pultneyville properties in this once thriving commercial lakeport, that in 1985, became listed on the National Register of Historic Places
The gallery is just steps away from the southern shore of Lake Ontario, the Pultneyville Yacht and Mariners Clubs, the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society Museum, the Pultneyville Deli and Up Pub, walking, hiking and biking trails and Gates Hall which bears the designation as the oldest little theatre in continuous operation in the United States which in 2017 will celebrate its 150th anniversary. It is also just minutes away from the Williamson-Sodus Airport which is a privately owned, public use airport.
Artisans' Loft is proud to represent local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists and to display their works of art which appeal to art admirers and collectors. Many mesmerizing local scenes are found among the vast collection of oils, watercolors, acrylics and pastels, as well as scenes from the well-traveled artists it represents.
