The Sci-Tech Museum is Northern New York's hands-on science museum, with 3,600 square feet of exhibits appropriate for children and adults. About 40 exhibits touch on light, color, motion, the senses, fluorescent minerals, dinosaurs, sound and more. The Museum also includes a small Young Children's Discovery Room for ages 2 to 5.
In the Giant Kaleidoscope, visitors become the object replicated thousands of times all around them, while in the Shadow Room they cast a glowing shadow on the wall - that stays in place after they walk away from it. Microscopes let them look at live pond life, and optical illusions fool their eyes.
Our science Gift Shop features science kits, science novelties, and unique items meant to intrigue and delight young and old alike: Gyroscopes, minerals, puzzles, build it yourself kits, dinosaurs, books and more.
