NatureVation Outdoor Adventures is Northeast Ohio’s premier outdoor tourism provider of fully equipped guided tours of Ohio’s great natural places. Tours offer a variety of activities in which adventurers hike, bike, kayak, tube, stand-up paddle board, snowshoe, play disc golf and do other fun outdoor activities. Our tours are unique because NatureVation thoroughly researches the sites visited and throughout the tour provides narration sharing the stories of history, geology, biology and folklore of the region. Every tour includes an elegant, gourmet hearty picnic snack or lunch. Farm-to-table dinner tours are also available. Tours are family-friendly and some tours conclude with wine or beer tastings. NatureVation specializes in custom tours available for family or corporate events.

NatureVation currently provides adventure tours in northeast Ohio which is rich with over seven extensive park systems and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, one of the top ten most visited national parks in the country. Because of Ohio's physiography, this region sports uniquely different land forms and ecosystems all within close proximity to the Cleveland-Akron-Canton urban centers. There are extensive vineyards, wineries and nurseries, unique geological formations, rock ledges, overlooks and quarry remnants, hundreds of streams and countless waterfalls which supported an early history of hydro-powered mills. The 19th century canal system created a series of small villages. Historical agricultural valleys are making a resurgence with booming sustainable valley and urban farms fueled by the local food movement. The infamous, 100 mile long Cuyahoga River has both its headwaters and its mouth all within 35 miles of Cleveland. Cuyahoga River experiences for paddlers range from remote and lazy naturalistic areas to Class Five rapids to the industrialized ship channel. Finally, there's Lake Erie, the shallowest, most sensitive and most productive of all of the Great Lakes. Lake Erie and it's shores provide great fishing, sailing, bird watching and water play.
History runs deep through northeast Ohio and it's the land, water and natural resources which shaped the industrial and cultural heritage of the past three hundred years. NatureVation specializes in describing this history through the stories and folklore of the land and the people who settled it. Every adventure is fully narrated with the natural and cultural history of the various sites visited.
NatureVation currently offers half and full day excursions most weekends. Weekday tours can be arranged upon request.
