Although the river and mountains take on a different personality with each season, they are equally beautiful. Many people join us several times each year and discover that the seasonal changes make every trip unique.
We take pride in our top quality rental craft consisting of Old Town canoes & kayaks and Momentum 6 man rafts. We offer various length trips on the Delaware River, through the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
DAILY CANOE, KAYAK & RAFT TRIPS
The Delaware River offers the perfect outdoor adventure for beginners as well as the more experienced. Our staff would be happy to help you choose between canoes, kayaks and rafts, as well as which trip would best suit your needs. Keep in mind that a fun day on the river can consist of many exciting activities. Remember you have use of the canoe, kayak or raft from the time of your arrival until our closing. Don't rush! We encourage you to take your time and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. You can stop on one of the many unspoiled islands for a picnic lunch. Our canoes and rafts can easily carry your coolers and other equipment. On hot days, many people enjoy jumping out of their canoe, kayak or raft and floating down river in their lifejacket. There are many spots along the way to take a swim break, other activities can include snorkeling, hiking and fishing to name a few.
MULTI-DAY CANOE CAMPING TRIPS
For overnight canoe camping trips the National Park Service provides primitive riverside or island campsites without charge. The campsites are not accessible by vehicle and are restricted to only bonified canoe campers. We offer many different overnight canoe trips to choose from that vary in length from 14 miles to over 50 miles. Our staff would be happy to help you plan your trip. We suggest getting to your campsite early in the afternoon, so you have plenty of time to set up camp and enjoy other activities such as hiking, swimming and fishing. The campsites are primitive, as you would expect on a wilderness trip. They consist of a fire ring and a few have "outhouses". Some sites are suited for one tent while others can handle several. You are responsible to carry out your own trash and maintain proper camping etiquette. Glass containers are prohibited and food should be packed in animal proof coolers or containers. National Park River Rangers patrol the area.
