Come celebrate the birth of the jeep, June 9-11. Festival events at Cooper’s Lake Campground all weekend with Jeep Invasion in downtown Butler on Friday night. Off-road trails, Jeep Playground with mud pit, WWII Encampment, history, vendors, Little Jeepers Playground, Best of Bantam (formerly called Show 'n Shine) and more. Fri. 9 AM-4 PM. Invasion in downtown Butler Fri. 6-10 PM. Sat. 9 AM-6 PM. Sun. 9 AM-3 PM.
During the weekend on Sunday there will be family-friendly 5K mud race on foot. The race course will challenge people to perform as well as a tricked-out Jeep. Obstacles will include tires, cargo nets, steep hills, wooded trails and the Jeep Playground itself. Medals will be awarded. Participants will receive a tech-tee shirt, refreshments and admission to the festival.
