The Acoustic Coffeehouse is known for hosting music shows pretty much every night, and as a gathering place for people of all ages. With it's reputation for high quality live music, no-smoking (indoors) atmosphere and long history as a "free-speech" zone it has gained a reputation, especially with musicians, throughout the United States, and is the favorite gathering place for many regular customer, who are made up of college students, retirees, white and blue collar workers, and tourists. It is centrally located between the downtown area and East Tennessee State University, and features fresh roasted coffees from all over the world and a large selection of craft beers and ciders.
