Every barrel is a culmination of the world’s finest distilling, aged to perfection in the ideal climate of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. While inspired by time-honored traditions, we forge traditions of our own—making whisky more than what has been, while remaining true to ourselves, our home, and our founder. The result: a whisky that George would’ve been proud of.

Learn about the origins of single malt whisky in Scotland and Virginia through our museum and video experience. A walking tour of the production facility will give guests an insiders glimpse into whisky production and will finish with a tasting in the cask house and Visitors Center for guests 21 and older. Children 12 to 20 are allowed to do just the tour (no tasting, obviously!). We also offer a designated driver option for adults not participating in the tasting. Attendees tasting whisky, please bring valid ID. By Virginia law, no more than 3 ounces per person, per day. Tours max out at 16 attendees per tour.
