Don't just visit the West ~ Live it! The TX Ranch is a genuine old fashion working cattle guest ranch. We have been in the guest ranch business since 1976, long before the movie City Slickers ever hit the big screen! During our spring, summer and fall weeks we provide authentic seasonal cattle drives, horse wrangling, working cattle activities and very good exceptional riding! Cattle activities include riding, round up cattle, cattle drives, cutting out cattle and cow/calf pairs, branding, tagging, vaccinating, doctoring, castration, etc. The TX spreads through miles of scenic open range country beginning from the Pryor Mountain foot hills on down to the Big Horn Canyon and it's breath taking overlook! Everything is provided for you except your own personal gear. During the week we ride six full days! Saturday is our transport day. We provide free transportation to and from Billings, MT and TX Ranch. Our weekly rate is all in one! No extra hidden fees. Our camps are based at authentic scenic home stead sites located out on the range! We have two separate camps. Our spring and summer camps both have a cabin where very good ranch style home cooked meals are prepared and served. Drinking water, hot and cold beverage mixes, tea and coffee are provided in the cabin. Our camp cabin is welcome to all and considered home to all for the week. We want you to feel like part of the family and one of the cowboys! We all stay in canvas wall tents with good sturdy cots, thick foam mattress pads and a heat stove during possible cooler weather. A daily wash stand is provided with water and wash basins. Also provided out house buildings and shower house buildings. Additionally we will have a horsemanship clinic hosted by Sam Wagler. Sam is Lyons Legacy Certified and Accredited Trainer. The clinic week is provided on our season pdf form, web site and Facebook.
