Viu Manent is one of Chile’s most highly recognized and best-evaluated wineries for the excellence of its tourism center. It has received outstanding accolades over the years, including being lauded for having the “Best Visitor Centre” according to the influential British magazine Drinks International. Furthermore, it is the only Chilean winery considered among the best examples of wine tourism worldwide.

Located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley and just two hours (150 km) from Santiago, Viña Viu Manent offers wine lovers a complete wine tourism experience, including guided tours, outdoor activities, the Rayuela Wine & Grill Restaurant, and the La Llavería Visitors Center, all in a lovely setting surrounded by beautiful country scenery.

Among the highlights are the bilingual tours, which begin in the La Llavería Visitors Center, which brings together all the magic of the wine, history, and the love that three generations of the Viu family has dedicated to the quality of their wines. The experience continues with a ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the vineyards to the wine cellar, where visitors learn about the winemaking process and try a wine straight from the tank. The tour ends in the tasting room in La Llavería, where guests taste five wines from a selection of the Viu Manent Gran Reserva, Secreto, and Single Vineyard lines. 4 tours per day: 10:30, 12:00, 15:00, 16:30 hours. The tour can be complemented with a visit to the Wine Shop and the Emporio for handcrafts, lunch in the Rayuela Wine & Grill Restaurant, Terraza La Llavería Bar, or in the Café de la Viña with a wonderful view of the vineyards and horseback riding arenas. Another great option is to visit Chef Pilar Rodríguez’s Food & Wine Studio, which is located within the winery, where she conducts food and wine pairing sessions.

Horseback Riding Classes
Children and horse lovers can take entertaining classes on horses and ponies or take a horseback excursion through the vineyards, Tuesday through Sunday at 12:00, 1:00, 3:00, and 6:00 PM.
