Ideally located in the centre of Cheshire, Pickmere Country House is a grade ll listed former farmhouse situated in the centre of the village of Pickmere between Knutsford and Northwich.

The house has 11 letting rooms accommodating up to 22 guests. Lunches, afternoon teas and dinners can be catered for with prior notice and the house also has a licence and sells wines, champagnes and locally produced ales from a micro brewery in Knutsford.

Guests can explore everything that Cheshire offers from Pickmere. It is just a 35 minute drive to Manchester and Liverpool city centres as well as the Peak District in the east and Chester in the west. There are numerous lovely walks (we are dog friendly) from the Delamere Forest, Macclesfield Forest, Neumann's Flashes, Marbury Country Park, Anderton Boat Lift and Tatton Park plus there is a lovely lake in the village.

There are many National Trust properties include Tatton Park, Dunham Massey, Little Moreton Hall, Lyme Park and Quarry Bank Mill as well as privately owned homes at Arley Hall, Tabley Hall, Gawsworth Hall and Adlington Hall.

Other attractions include some excellent shopping at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Mall and The Trafford Centre, skiing at The Chill Factore, the Anderton Boat Lift, The Salt Museum, Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park.
