Peter, Jill and family warmly welcome you to Nanjeath Farm, an idyllic Cornish Farmstead with a selection of 4 star & 5 star Gold award self catering holiday cottages situated in the heart of Cornwall. This picturesque Cornish hideaway is perfectly located in a secluded, peaceful setting and the wonderful scenery, villages, beaches, national trust properties and of course the stunning coastal footpaths are all within very easy reach. It is midway between Heligan Gardens and The Eden Project, so perfect for gardeners and plant lovers.

There are 5 self-catering holiday cottages available to choose from sleeping from 2 to 4 people. Each cottage has retained its original features and unique character, with open beams, slate and wooden floors with soft rugs and comfy sofas. They are all equipped to a high standard and tastefully decorated with antique furniture in many rooms. All beds are either king or super king size (which can become twins) and are made up with quality Egyptian or percale cotton bed linen. Showers are separate to the bath tubs and are very powerful (if you want them to be) and heated towel rails provide warmth for the soft fluffy towels. Guests are welcomed with fresh flowers and a Cornish cream tea, with scones fresh from the Farmhouse Aga.

The Farmhouse dates back to 1650 and is set amongst mature trees and a patchwork of meadows. It is a haven for wildlife with a wide variety of birds to be seen, along with rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, hedgehogs and occasionally a deer has been spotted. At dusk, both the tawny and barn owls can sometimes be seen hunting in the meadows, of which we have 8 acres. All are on level ground and perfect for a carefree stroll to take in the sights and sounds of the birdsong and to enjoy the wildlife and tranquillity that our private location offers. Whilst being tucked away in a very sheltered position, walkers can take a 15 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) to the beginning of a footpath. From here a further 20 minute uphill climb takes you to a spot from where both the north and south coasts of Cornwall can be seen on a clear day. The views are wonderful and the walk home a lot easier! The secluded meadows are home to horses who graze peacefully and a small family of hens who provide free range eggs available to guests.

Facilities available include a pool table and dart board to while away an evening in our information room, as well as a croquet set, should you fancy trying this old and sometimes quite competitive game! Also in here the farms free range eggs and can be purchased at any time via an honesty box, subject to availability.
