Polhawn Fort is a superb wedding venue and accommodation venue situated in a historic fort on the Cornish coast. Sleeps 20+.
Hidden in a small cove on the Rame Peninsula, Polhawn Fort seems untouched by modern civilisation. Just over the River Tamar from Devon, it's only four hours from London.
From the moment you walk across the draw-bridge into the Fort and down the spiral staircase into the eighty foot long vaulted Hall, your wedding at Polhawn Fort is spectacular, yet intimate.
The secluded venue is "yours" exclusively, for your weekend or mid-week; minimum two nights. You arrange the wedding ceremony and reception just as you wish. During extra days in your stay, enjoy relaxed walks around the headland, tennis and croquet. Bathe in the sea or just chill with friends and family.
A path with steps leads from the Fort garden to our own beach, Polhawn Cove.
Wedding ceremonies can be inside the Fort, but can also take place in the garden Summerhouse overlooking the sea. A big open log fire, central heating throughout and a cosy interior make the Fort a stunning winter setting too. There have been weddings at Polhawn Fort for twenty years, so our team has a wealth of experience to assist you with your special day.
