Our three converted barns, The Hayloft, The Dairy and The Byre are set in their own landscaped garden with beautiful views of open countryside.
The barns provide a secluded peaceful holiday home for families and couples alike in the heart of the Cornish countryside, yet are only minutes from the golden sands of Holywell Bay and Crantock on the dramatic North Cornwall coast. They are surrounded by rolling green fields on all sides providing that rural idyllic retreat and they were once part of a farm owned by the local National Trust manor house, Trerice Manor, which can still be visited.
Our barns are perfect for couples seeking a cosy, peaceful break; families seeking family friendly, good quality accommodation. The closest beach 3½ miles; Shop and pub 1½ miles.
2 of the barns are Dog friendly (The Byre and The Dairy each with secure, private decking area). The Byre sleeps 4 with 1 double room and 1 twin; The Hayloft and The Dairy both sleep 5 with two bedrooms and one folding bed.
All are fully equipped and have central heating. We have a secure store for bikes/surfboards.
Book all 3 barns together to accommodate 14 guests.
Short breaks are also available outside of school holidays.
Despite the feel of being so rural, the barns are within easy access to all of Cornwall, including numerous fantastic beaches on the North Coast , Padstow, The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Camel Trail for cycling and walking and many National Trust gardens, parks and houses. The barns are also situated on National Cycle Route 32 from Truro to Padstow, making them a great location for exploring Cornwall on two wheels!
Newquay is 4 miles away and has many restaurants, cafés, and shops as well as beaches with surfing and surf schools, and dramatic cliff top walks. Truro, the capital of Cornwall is easily reached in 20 minutes and is a must to explore with its narrow streets, restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out.
