Forest Glade is a quiet, sheltered park set in a forest clearing with well-kept level grounds and beech hedge screening. It is set on the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in rural mid Devon, not far from the Somerset border.
One of the main attractions is the 300 acres of pine forest surrounding the park which offers lovely walks with surprising views over the countryside. As well as a wealth of bird life there are deer to be seen for those who are lucky enough.
Family-owned and run, with the help of our park staff, we are committed to providing you with a friendly, well-kept and efficiently-run place in which to enjoy your holiday.
The 26-acre site has 80 touring pitches including 40 hard standings and 4 full-service pitches. There is also a separate camping field for those who prefer space and freedom to pitch where they choose, which is open for busy weekends and during the school summer holidays.
Our small fleet of 26 holiday homes are available for self-catering holidays and our short breaks are popular throughout the season, while many families and couples come for a week or more in the school holidays. These are all modern holiday caravan, some with double glazing and central heating. We also have a flat, great for a couple with beautiful views over forest with its own balcony.
Our camping pods are a cosy alternative to camping and we have a camper’s kitchen available, providing additional facilities.
Pets are welcome on all the touring pitches and in some of our holiday accommodation, and our dog-walking area is the whole of the forest.
We also have seasonal pitches for touring caravans and holiday caravans, details of which are available on request.
Our storage facilities for touring caravans are very well used and many of our customers return regularly to stay on the park. Details are available on request.

Facilities on the park include an indoor swimming pool with toddler pool, sauna, games room with indoor soft play area, ball games area, children’s play areas, shop with off-licence and take away.
Nearby are some excellent local pubs serving food and local beers and ciders, many of which welcome children and dogs. There is horse riding, fishing, gliding and flying nearby and the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, is a 40-minute drive. Exmoor and Dartmoor are easily accessible from the park as is the cathedral city of Exeter and Somerset’s county town, Taunton.
