The Groveside guest house is a Gold 4 star ten bedroom guest house in the East Devon town of Sidmouth. This imposing Edwardian House with parking on site and a dedicated guest wifi connection is just a ten minute stroll to the Jurassic coastline through an unspoilt small town full of unique and customised shops pubs and cafes. The bedrooms at the Groveside are all individually furnished to a high standard meeting the high expectations of our regular and new guests. This means regular change of mattresses and pillows. All bedrooms are ensuite have hospitality trays and quality soap and shampoo. Dressing gowns, white fluffy towels ,hairdryers, flat screen TV and click radio can be found in all bedrooms. Plus the special ONO bag unique to the Groveside.
We attempt to provide accommodation that is comfortable for everyone. Guests have access to the large but cosy guest lounge throughout their stay. Our breakfasts are cooked fresh to order, are plentiful and varied and meet most dietary needs. The breakfasts are served in our panelled light airy breakfast rooms and are complimentary if booked direct by telephone,email or through our own webpage.
As experienced hosts we enjoy meeting new people, welcoming them into our guest home and providing the warmest of welcomes. We offer early arrival times between 9am and 12 noon so you can make the most out of your stay. Or between 4 and 6 pm . Coffee and biscuits or tea and cakes will be offered on arrival depending on the time you arrive. It takes just a phone call to arrange a different time.
We gave a lovely medium guest garden with seating area and a summer house.where many of our guests have enjoyed the tranquility whilst resting on a lounger. Cream teas can be arranged.
We are highly recommended on trip advisor and for the 10 year have gained the seal of excellence and five stars. We have also been awarded the guest house of the year by the midland news a silver award for the Sidmouth in bloom, we hold a 5 star hygiene certificate and a four star gold award from the AA.
We aim to provide all the facilities of a well run guest house; free wifi, comfortable clean bedrooms, parking on site, a great breakfast, a garden to relax in and a comfortable guest lounge to read your morning newspaper or play cards or board games with friends or family.
