Welcome to The Old Farmhouse, offering AA 4 star bed and breakfast, in the Regency town of Sidmouth. The Old Farmhouse is a lovely sixteenth-century listed farmhouse that dates back to 1569. It has an adjoining cottage, which once housed the local cider mill. This is said to be one of the oldest buildings of its kind in Sidmouth. Over the years, we have updated this much loved building to include all modern amenities, whilst taking care to preserve its original appearance and character.

We have 3 double rooms and 3 twins; all with ensuite bath or shower, colour TV and central heating. We also provide home from home comforts.

For breakfast, you can choose from a selection including healthy starters, full English breakfast, toast, preserves, breakfast tea and fresh ground coffee. We do have lighter options available and all special diets are catered for, especially coeliacs. You can pre-book evening meals and these are served at 6.30pm. We prepare all our meals on the day using the best fresh local produce and seasonsal vegetables. We enjoy cooking delicious old fashioned recipes, with a twist, for our guests at the Old Farmhouse. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine for dinner. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book.

After dinner, you can choose to relax with your coffee in our cosy beamed television lounge, with its comfortable easy chairs or, if you prefer, read or chat with friends in our quieter, intimate inglenook lounge. In the Summer evenings, you can sit in the courtyard garden.
