Carole and Jay welcome you to The George Guest House, which offers six refurbished guest rooms and full English breakfast.

We offer friendly, comfortable accommodation, with personal service and no added charges for breakfast, parking, WIFI etc.

The George was originally a large Victorian vicarage and is situated in a quieter area on the Dorchester Road, offering free parking space for all of our guests in our large, private, walled car park. The George is just five minutes' walk from Weymouth's sea front and beach on the beautiful Dorset Jurassic coast, 100 yards from a bus stop on the town centre bus route and about 15 minutes' walk from the town centre, marina, ferry port and railway station and is therefore ideal for all who wish to enjoy this popular seaside resort and all the amenities it has to offer – both tourists and business clients alike.

Carole and Jay took over The George at the end of March 2010 as a result of appearing on the BBC TV programme 'To Buy or Not to Buy' and this was the wild card! We have now spent four years investing in the improvement and refurbishment of our guest accommodation. The George Guest House is an ideal accommodation base for:
