As a family ourselves, we’ve been developing this park for over half a century and think we are well placed in every sense to offer you the opportunity to immerse yourselves in outdoor adventure in our magnificent forest whilst enjoying the modern and clean facilities of our park. Surrounded by nature at its best and situated behind the charming Red Shoot Inn, the Red Shoot Camping Park is the perfect place to unwind, relax and escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. We focus on families and couples so no noisy hen or stag parties and no large groups either. Our facilities include an on-site shop and bakery, children’s play area, laundry room, under floor heated showers/toilets and family and disabled bathrooms, which are all maintained to a high standard ensuring your holiday at the Red Shoot Camping Park is as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Winners of the Trip Advisor Award for Excellence in 2014 and 2015, we welcome tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans and can offer a choice of both electric and non-electric grass pitches. Whilst visiting this beautiful corner of the world, you can enjoy our mystical and ancient forest on horseback, bicycle or foot and your four legged friends are more than welcome too as we’re very dog-friendly. In addition you could head to the coast with Bournemouth and its surrounding sandy beaches being only 12 miles away.
If tents and caravans aren't your thing, perhaps you would be tempted by our holiday cottage, 'The Byre'. It has been described by those who have stayed in it as a ‘little gem’ in the heart of the New Forest. Once a dairy parlour and latterly our camping park shop, we converted it in 2013 to this pristine 2 bedroom holiday cottage where you can enjoy all the facilities and friendly buzz of the camping park without actually having to sleep under canvas. It has its own parking space, patio and little garden overlooking our camping fields and is ideal for those of us who like our luxuries, aren’t keen on camping but may still want to enjoy quality time with their ‘camping mad’ family and friends!
