The Old Thatch Teashop is a Beautiful, Award Winning Teashop with a Magical Unique Fairy Garden, popular with Children and Adults alike. Our Pink Teashop was built in 1690 and is the oldest building in the Old Village of Shanklin and has been a Teashop since 1940.

Renowned for Speciality Cream Teas, all made on our premises, and Victorian Cream Teas with a choice of Dainty Sandwiches, Scone, jam Cream & Butter together with a pot of our most excellent Loose Leaf Tea which can be substituted by a glass of Champagne! You will also find Sandwiches, Lite Bites, Jacket Potatoes, Traditional English Fayre and a whole lot more to suit everyones taste. We are also most popular for our extensive GLUTEN FREE choices and we have a varied and exciting Childrens Menu.

There are three Beautiful rooms to sit and enjoy food and drinks decorated in individual colours with an array of memorabilia. Our Garden is breathtaking with a Fairy Garden at the bottom to delight everyone and is a must to visit when visiting Shanklin.

Pat & Charles take a lot of pride in their Quintessential Old English Teashop and they and their Staff really enjoy meeting all of our Customers, old and knew, and endeavour to make everyone when visiting feel most welcome with exceptional service

Old Thatch Teashop is open from the end of March to end October 7 days per week 10am - 5pm.
