The Bow Window opened in early July 2016 serving customers the finest coffees, teas, hot chocolate, cold drinks, fruit smoothies as well as fabulous cakes, pastries and savouries.
The shop on the square has been lovingly renovated and refurbished by new owner Sarah and her team, offering customers a relaxing place to enjoy hand roasted and barista brewed espressos, cappuccinos and lattes and finest teas, along with a range of locally sourced foods and beverages.
Choose from a comfy sofa for a relaxed morning coffee to a table to chat over business. When the sun shines our cottage garden is available and we have a small private room for clubs, societies and businesses to hire for meetings.
In addition to the range of coffees supplied by Canterbury-based Garage Coffee, customers can enjoy a selection of fine teas from Teapigs; indulgent hot chocolate melts made with real chocolate flakes – milk, white or dark; fruit juices from local suppliers Chegworth Valley and a range of homemade cakes, cupcakes and traybakes supplied by co-worker Emma and Zinzie cakes of Faversham.
The Bow Window opens at 8.00am on weekdays to enable customers to pick up a coffee or tea on their way in to work along with a range of breakfast treats including pastries, yoghurts with granola and avocado on toast.
Lunches include sandwiches and wraps with a variety of classic filling such as BLT, coronation chicken, and prawn salad; and paninis and toasties with tuna melt, brie and cranberry, cheese and ham and halloumi with sundried tomatoes and rocket. In addition, jacket potatoes and a ploughman’s with locally sourced speciality breads, cheese and ham or pate will also be on the menu.
Special afternoon teas, picnic hampers and business lunch platters are available to pre-order.
Opening hours are 8.00am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
We look forward to welcoming the residents and business community of Lenham and beyond.
