Enjoy the glorious Sabden Valley and Pendle Hill countryside from our tranquil four-star self catering two-bedroomed cottage that sleeps up to five (good quality fold-up bed available on request).

Share stunning panoramic views from the windows, walk from the door onto the network of footpaths the crisscross the valley, set off to explore the Forest of Bowland then relax in the comfort of the cottage or round the table on the decking in the private rear garden.

Cobden View is a spacious, centrally heated detached cottage, set on one level and in its own grounds on our hillside working family farm. We've done our best to think of everything you might need for your stay - a fully equipped dining kitchen, a comfortable sitting room with two and three seater sofas and a wood burner for cooler days. Both bedrooms - a king size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the other- have fitted wardrobes and are south facing onto the private garden. The utility room includes a washing machine, freezer - plus drying rack and chairs so you can have a 'brew' and watch the hens. There's a shared bathroom with underfloor heating and that includes a shower and separate bath.
Well behaved dogs are welcome too - and have their own welcome packs, plus dog mat, bed and towels.

Cobden View (at Cobden Farm, Sabden, where we also have a bed and breakfast - Cobden Farm B&B) is in a great location for exploring the North West and Yorkshire. It's away from the hustle and bustle but within seven miles of the M65, three miles of the A59. Blackpool is 38 miles away; the Yorkshire Dales and Pennines a similar distance. Airports at Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford are around an hour away. There're train stations nearby at Whalley and Clitheroe where there are bus stations too. Sadly, to date, Sabden's bus service linking up with these transport hubs has not yet been reinstated after it became a victim of Lancashire County Council cuts. Hopefully it will return. Generally, we advise a car is needed when staying at Cobden View.
