Enjoy the stunning, panoramic views of Sabden Valley and Pendle Hill from our spacious 4 star Cobden View holiday cottage, set in its own grounds on our hillside working farm. The tranquil cottage is flanked by farm fields, hens, sheep and cattle (in varying combinations depending on the time of year). The cottage seems a world away from anywhere - although the motorway network is within seven miles and the A-road network three miles.
Inside Cobden View, there's a king size bed in the big bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom (there's room for a Z-bed in the main bedroom). Both look out onto the south-facing, secluded private rear garden and decking area that's perfect for alfresco dining on warm evenings. Morning-time, watch the little birds feast from the feeders hanging in the trees. The sitting room with multi-fuel burning stove has comfy leather two and three seater sofas, plus TV and DVD, books, games, magazines etc. The four piece, fully tiled bathroom that includes a bath and separate shower cubicle, has a big towel warmer that keeps everything cosy. The fully equipped (tell us if we've forgotten to include anything), modern kitchen-dining room is a perfect place to eat. One big window looks across the valley to lower Pendle Hill, while the other looks up the valley to a steeper, heather-covered hillside and to Sabden village. A long utility room - handy for well behaved dogs - is another relaxing space to enjoy your morning cuppa, sitting and looking out across the fields towards Sabden.
Cobden View has full central heating and is double glazed throughout. There's free wi-fi. A private driveway has room for two cars, or you can park just outside the cottage grounds.
