Columb has had this property for 25 years and the entire property was renovated in 2007/08 with comfort and spaces to relax in mind. Perfectly suited to groups sharing the property has 7 brms and 5 bath/shower rooms.

Morton House is on the street and the Stable Block is attached at the rear, forming an 'L' shape with a private walled courtyard garden on the southern side so gets a lot of sun. There is a downstairs bedroom with ensuite shower room in the Stable Block which is useful for our guests with limited mobility. Upstairs you will find a further 2 bedrooms and another shower room. Morton House 4brms are all upstairs with the romantic master suite taking the entire loft area, this is a beautiful room with king size bed and ensuite with roll top bath. The bedrooms have a combination of single, double, king and superking beds but luxurious linens and soft pillows. Towels are provided also..

There are 2 living rooms in Morton House - the more formal 'Green' room with Chesterfield sofas and open fire place for enjoying an after dinner relax in the cold winter months and the comfy TV room with large flatscreen TV, Sky package and wood burning stove. The property is centrally heated throughout also. Then there is the large farmhouse style kitchen/diner with 7 ring range cooker, double oven, dishwasher and all the gadgets expected of a property of this quality. The Stable Block has an open plan living/kitchen/diner again with large flat screen TV and Sky package. The patio doors open to the private shared courtyard with a large 6 burner gas BBQ for entertaining in the warmer months.

We are located in the market town of Masham, just a few minutes walk onto the square and all the delights of the town. Cafes, galleries, pubs, restaurants, shops and the bi-weekly market are all there on your doorstep, no need to get back in the car. This is a vibrant community where there is always something going on - a concert in the Town Hall or the annual Steam Rally and Sheep Fair are all wonderful events to see and share memories with your family and friends.

Open all year this is an ideal property for annual get togethers of friends and family and celebration birthdays/anniversarys/weddings. We do prefer to take weekly bookings in the holiday periods and will consider weekend and mid-week breaks out of holiday seasons. As we live close by we can be on hand to help with local knowledge and get you booked into any activities or meals in the area.
