Deep in Robin Hood Country, a beautiful country park with woodland, meadow and gardens. At its heart stand the romantic ruins of a medieval monastery and later country house.
Enjoy coffee and homemade cake in the Coach House Café. Lunch or treat yourself to Afternoon Tea in Lord Savile's Kitchen. Stroll around the lake and pop in for an ice cream at the Mill Teashop. Our Craft Shop, Outdoor Living Shop and new Coach House Deli (opening summer 2017)
Play areas for younger children, Sculpture Trail in the gardens, and tranquil woodland walks. Many historic features to discover in the Abbey grounds, including two Ice Houses hidden in the woods, and the ornate Western Gates.
Special events through the year, from Easter Trails to Santa's Grotto.
Park open every day except Christmas Day. 10am to 5.00 pm. Dogs on a lead are welcome. No admission fee - just a small charge for parking. Coaches welcome - book in advance and claim free refreshments for your driver.
Cycling:
Cycling not allowed in the park. Please use the bike racks in the Abbey car park park up and explore on foot.
