Take a ride with us and enjoy the splendid Chilterns countryside as we set off from Chinnor where your steam locomotive will be panting and billowing clouds of steam past your carriage window - on the journey you might spot some of our local wildlife such as Muntjac deer, perhaps see pheasants and hares, and it is rather rare not to see any of our ubiquitous Red Kites whirling overhead.

Meanwhile our volunteers will be making their way through the train with an at-seat service of tea, coffee and light refreshments. Why not make several trips along the line as your travel tickets are valid all day long...

The railway is open from Mothering Sunday right though the year and covering many events, like, Easter Specials, Fish & chip Quiz Nights, Kids for a Quid during the summer holidays, Hallowe’en and ending up with our Santa Specials in December. Many of the events have discounted prices for Kids and if you book online you can save more. You can make the trip extra special and pre-book one of our superb Sunday Cream Teas or Ploughman’s Lunches.

At Chinnor station, there’s a large, free car park, a café and a souvenir shop (with a range of toys, train sets, badges, fridge magnets, pens and a selection of railway books). See our website for what is going on at the railway right now.
