An Official Oxford Walking Tour is one of the best ways to explore Oxford - on foot your qualified Blue or Green Badge guide will take you through the iconic Radcliffe Square from where you can see the world famous Bodleian Library and several of the oldest and most beautiful Colleges. On our daily 2 hour University and City Tour, you can see inside a college and the Divinity School, one of the oldest and most stunning Bodleian Library buildings, with its lierne stone vaulted ceiling (dating back to the 1480s). Your guide will regale you with stories of the first students and their battles with the townsfolk - as well as explaining the weird and wonderful University traditions and what student life is like today!
Another very popular tour every weekend is our 2-hour Inspector Morse Walking Tour of Oxford. See the sites where filming took place, from the Radcliffe Camera to the quads of the Oxford Colleges, and from the dark narrow alleyways to the public houses where the famous words ‘Pint, Lewis?’ were often spoken. Every Inspector Morse and Lewis tour of Oxford is unique, with each specially trained and entertaining guide taking you on their own journey weaving individual stories and locations along the way. (The only downside is that with around 150 hours of Inspector Morse alone to discover - it is impossible to cover it all.)
The Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland tour of Oxford is also hugely popular and runs every Friday or Saturday (please book in advance to avoid disappointment!). On this tour you can immerse yourself in the worlds of two of literature and film's most famous characters. Your specialist guide will take you to the film locations or places used as inspiration in the Harry Potter films including Christ Church, New College and the Divinity School. Fans of Alice in Wonderland will also discover Christ Church and the surrounding meadows - the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's two Alice books.

All college visits are subject to availability, as University buildings are sometimes in use for University business, including graduation ceremonies and examinations! You can combine your Official Oxford Walking Tour with a CitySightseeing Bus tour, or an Oxford Castle tour.
