The Fashion Museum Bath is one of the world's great museum collections of historic and fashionable dress. A History of Fashion in 100 Objects exhibition is currently on display celebrating fashion from the 1600s to the present day. Showcasing 100 star objects drawn from the Fashion Museum’s world-class collection, the brand new displays give visitors an instant insight into the era-defining outfits and headline pieces that have shaped our wardrobes over the past 400 years.

Audioguides are available in twelve languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Discover what it is like to wear a ‘make-believe’ Georgian dress and more! There are coats and hats, dresses and bonnets for boys and for girls, and for men and for women, all just waiting for you to try on. Take your photographs against a backdrop image of Bath's Royal Crescent.

The Assembly Rooms Café is open every day (when not booked for an event). The café serves hot and cold beverages, sandwiches and cakes. Entry to the Assembly Rooms and café is free of charge.
