Ouseburn Farm is an inner city farm right in the heart of Newcastle, comprising a visitors attraction, education centre and cafe.
We have many animals large and small and an extensive garden where we grow our own produce to use in our cafe and to sell to the public and to other more discerning eateries in the Ouseburn Valley and beyond.
You can buy some animal feed from the cafe to feed our chickens, sheep, cows and pigs. You may even be lucky enough to get a cuddle of a rabbit or guinea pig....or maybe a gecko or snake is more your style?
During the week we train adults with learning difficulties and people with disabilities in catering/customer service, animal husbandry, horticulture, drama, photography etc.
The farm is open from 9.30 - 5 pm Mon - Fri and 10.30 - 4.30 at the weekend, and is absolutely free to come to....all we ask for is a small donation to help us keep open.
