Mid Yorkshire Golf Club in Darrington, near Pontefract is ideally located in the heart of Yorkshire, where from the moment you drive into the stunning parkland setting you will be inspired by the enchanting fairways, water features, modern Clubhouse all combined with attention to detail and a warm friendly atmosphere.
Established in 1993 around existing mature woodland, the course at Mid Yorkshire Golf Club, at just over 6300 yards, provides an excellent and enjoyable test of golf whether you are an experienced golfer or a relative newcomer. Our golf facilities include a Championship Standard 18 hole golf course, 23 bay floodlit and heated driving range, well stocked Pro-Shop with custom fitting and tuition by PGA qualified staff. Our Golf Pro plays an active part, guiding tuition and continual development of the Club and its Members. The setting also acts as an amazing venue for weddings, functions and conferences with beautifully decorated rooms and facilities including a highly acclaimed restaurant also open for our infamous Family Sunday Roast!
Mid Yorkshire Golf Club, is 2 miles south of the M62 junctions 33 and 32A at Ferrybridge and just off the A1, which make us easily accessible from all directions. Leeds and Doncaster are a 20 minute drive away, York and Wakefield are 30 minutes and Hull, Huddersfield and Sheffield are all well less than an hour from the Club.
