First we led its restoration and now we help to protect, enhance and promote it. We help visitors enjoy the heritage, natural beauty and sheer relaxation possible on the kennet and Avon Canal.
Our Attractions. We have 4 public trip boats on the canal. offering pleasure cruises throughout the season and private charter.

CROFTON pumping station is a grade 1 listed pumping station, built in 1807 and is located near the village of Great Bedwyn. It houses two magnificent Cornish steam Engines one of which is the oldest in the world still doing the job it was originally built for.
MUSEUM AND ARCHIVE Situated in Devizes at the Wharf has a collection of artifacts uniquely associated with the history and heritage of the Kennet and Avon Canal.
We have 4 tea rooms along the canal, Newbury stone building, Aldermaston, Devizes and Bradford on Avon.

THE BRUCE BOATS 4 Accessible boats for the disabled, elderly and disadvantaged
The Bruce Branch of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust provides specially-designed, purpose-built, wide-beam canal boats, for hire for self-catering, self-steer holidays by disabled, disadvantaged or elderly people along with their family, friends or carers.

The Trust has a fleet of four boats. Hannah is 12 berth, Rebecca and Diana are 10 berth and Rachel is 6 berth. Each boat has the highest quality accommodation and the ultimate flexibility for people with a wide variety of special needs. They all have a fully equipped galley with cooker and fridge, central heating and flushing W.C. The extra width of the boats provides excellent maneuverability for wheelchair users and they all have special built-in facilities: available for day and week hire.
