Wee Weddings are perfect for just two of you to enjoy a relaxed, stressfree wedding celebration over a couple of days, with or without a handful of guests. As Scotland’s alternative to Vegas, minus casinos & Elvis, Wee Weddings at Caisealrag Cottage are the ultimate in romantic escapes to tie the knot the way you want. We would be delighted to witness your wedding ceremony, take fabulous photographs of your wedding day, create beautiful bridal bouquets & button holes, pipe at your wedding in full Highland dress & help with every tiny little detail of your wee wedding plans.
Enjoy two nights exclusive use at Caisealrag Cottage midweek or three nights over a weekend. Our wee wedding guests usually arrive on Monday & leave on Wednesday & have their celebration on the Tuesday. Or they arrive on Wednesday & leave on Friday with the marriage on Thursday. We also offer wee weddings over weekends, Friday to Monday.
Caisealrag Cottage at Crear is perfect for two, just you. Should you wish to invite upto four guests, we have two guest rooms in the cottage annex with its own private entrance. We are completely flexible with how you can book so you can ask friends & family to join you for all or part of your stay. A maximum of six guests in total are permitted to stay plus children under five.
Alternatively celebrate in the understated elegance of Crear House. Our perfect package includes exclusive use of Crear House, perched on the hillside with views to the Isles of Islay & Gigha, the coast of Ireland with the twinkling lighthouses of Rathlin Island on the horizon & the famous Paps of Jura. With everything you could wish for to complete a stress free wedding day including your bridal flowers, wedding photography, a bottle of delicious champagne with platters of local produce & a delicious dessert, witnesses for your marriage ceremony & our award winning piper to play your wedding music. We would be delighted for you to invite upto 10 guests to stay with you in the house, allowing you to celebrate your Wee Wedding with your nearest and dearest.
With nearly 200 acres surrounding Crear & Caisealrag Cottage fully licensed, you can decide where & when to marry and who you invite as your celebrant. Take your vows on a sandy beach or the site of an ancient fort looking out to the Isles of Gigha, Islay & Jura with the Irish Coast on the horizon. If the weather is unkind the cottage or Crear studio filled with flowers, twinkling candles & fairy lights is wonderfully romantic.
