Garbhein Bed and Breakfast in the village of Kilmelford 12 miles South of Oban offers two very comfortable double guest bedrooms on the first floor both with en suite shower rooms, T V, and courtesy trays. Guests may also use the bright and airy lounge and on those pleasant evenings sit out on the patio which is accessed through the dining room. A full Scottish or wee Scottish breakfast is served and a selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, toast,tea and coffee is all included.

There is adequate private parking beside the property, bicycles and motor cycles can be put in our large garage.

Garbhein is directly opposite the Cuilfail Hotel, a former coaching inn dating from 1840 in the old part of the village where guests can enjoy an excellent home cooked bar meal and a selection of local ales and whiskies. There are a number of other restaurants a short drive from Garbhein.

Susan and Lindsay also run boat trips on their motor vessel Venturer to the infamous Corryvreckan Whirlpool and to check out the local wildlife in the special conservation area of the Firth of Lorne and Sound of Jura. Guests staying at Garbhein and wishing to take a boat trip with us attract a 10% discount on boat trip and accommodation.
