Situated in the heart of Merchant City, Mharsanta brings a taste of Scotland to you. Mharsanta has a passion for using seasonal, local produce from Scotland and are here to ensure our guests have the very best experience from the moment you walk through the door. The contemporary, chic feel of upstairs continues downstairs with a stunning collection of Scottish art.
We serve a variety of Scottish food from mussels and scallops to home cooked favourites including mince and tatties and steak and sausage pie. Our resident chef Dom and his team serve an array of culinary delights to suit every taste at affordable prices. We have highly skilled bar tenders who have travelled the world and conjure up some of the finest cocktails with extensive knowledge of the drinks on offer.

Then there’s our unique private dining room – The Hideout @ Mharsanta, a charming space ideal for a variety of events from corporate dinners, networking events, press launches, intimate gatherings, small boutique weddings and private parties with seating for up to 40 guests and up to 55 for more casual events. You will be looked after by our highly skilled events team from start to finish whether it’s a small intimate gathering or large corporate event.

Mharsanta is perfectly located in the heart of Merchant City with excellent transport links, street parking, regular buses, taxi links and only a short walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations
