Fern Cottage Restaurant in the heart of Pitlochry is a firm favourite – both for local residents and visitors to Highland Perthshire.
We are located as close as you can get to the heart of this picturesque Victorian town. Fern Cottage Restaurant offers a warm Highland welcome,truly tasty food and personal service for every customer.

Our menus are created to offer something a little different. We keep the emphasis on flavour, the freshness of Scotland’s larder and a taste of the Mediterranean and are proud of the choices we have selected for you!

During the summer season at Pitlochry Festival Theatre from May to October and for winter shows, we offer our specially selected pre-theatre menus for you to enjoy prior to the show.
From November through to Easter Fern Cottage Restaurant is open on Thursday evenings and Friday to Sunday we are open in the evenings but also from 12 noon serving great value lunch and daily specials or if its just soup and a sandwich you fancy we can do that too! Lunches last orders at 2.30pm.
The restaurant then re-opens at 5pm for our pre-theatre or our a la carte menus with last orders at 9pm.
