Hidden Amongst the gems of the beautiful Eastern shore, the Smokehouse is perfectly placed in the scenic and historical bays of Lochcarnan, this is still one of the most special, unspoilt locations in the world, where Gaelic, culture and community are still prominent in everyday life. First established as a small business in 1987, the original owner designed and built his own special kilns and developed a unique process.
30 years later, the former manager at the site purchased the business from the previous owners, the Smokehouse now celebrates its return to its core values with a back to basics approach, where heritage, tradition and quality are at the core of this newly re-formed, family run, Hebridean business, now established as a globally respected brand.

We source only the highest quality superior Atlantic salmon from Scottish salmon producers, only reared in the clear waters off the coast of Scotland.
The distinctive flavour and texture of our Flaky Smoked Salmon is different to all others, due to those special kilns!
Our process is simple, unique and Artisan throughout, produced only in small batches, this ensures each portion is hand-made with love. The result produces a luxurious and deluxe, Flaky Smoked Salmon, which retains all the natural juices and omega 3 oils during the process.
We only produce the finest quality smoked salmon for the ultimate customer experience.
