ESTABLISHED in 1994 by Andrew Lamb an Outdoor Activity Professional, Wales Outdoors has grown from the FIRST Mountain Bike Hire Centre in the Brecon Beacons into a Wales Wide Multi Activity Provider offering adventure activity days, team building events, outdoor training courses, overseas trekking holidays, family holidays and stag and hen party weekends.

ANDREW LAMB has been the Volunteer Co-ordinator, Guided Walks Programme Manager and Central Area Assistant Warden for the Brecon Beacons National Park. He developed the UK's only Outdoor Professionals Co-operative, was the key motivator in developing an Environmental Charter for the Brecon Beacons National Park area adventure activity providers and has been Chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism. Andrew has spent three and a half months in Scotland in winter walking the 'Munro's' in one long trek and has explored remote areas of the world as an independent backpacker.

ANDREW specialised in working with difficult young people and has held numerous positions co-ordinating and leading support programmes such as Duke of Edinburgh's Award Co-ordinator for Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare Probations Services, Activity Event Director for numerous commercial and authority owned Children's Residential Care Centres and has worked as The Princes Trust Social Inclusion Co-ordinator for Powys Schools.

NOWADAYS Wales Outdoors mostly work with adults, running a weekly climbing club through stag and hen party events and team building days to overseas holidays to places such as Iceland and Tenerife. JOIN US!
