Penyrallt Fach Cottage offers traditional accommodation of character for up to 4 people on a secluded organic dairy farm in the lovely Teifi Valley of north Carmarthenshire, west Wales.
This attractively decorated & comfortably furnished quirky cottage is a 19th century former piggery. The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen/sitting-room is very cosy with a wood-burning stove, a farmhouse table seating 4 & two large comfy sofas. It is a perfect place to relax and escape the stresses of everyday life either indoors curled up by a roaring log fire or outside in the wood-fired hot tub. There is no tv reception but a dvd player, radio and large library of books & dvds are provided for evening entertainment after lovely days spent on the beach or up in the hills. There is also free WiFi.
There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, each simply furnished. The beds are all supplied with organic wool duvets and beautiful Welsh wool counterpanes.
The cottage is set in its own lawned garden with the wood-fired hot tub for guests to enjoy views over paddocks and the fine old Grade 2 listed stone farm buildings.
All fuel for the wood-burner, electricity, bedlinen & towels are included in the price. Central heating is available during the winter months (October - May), and is included in the price.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £15 per dog.
The farm is only 30 minutes or so from the superb beaches of Cardigan Bay and the also the Cambrian Mountains. The Teifi Valley & the surrounding area is of great beauty and has many ancient & historic sites of interest, castles and attractive small market towns.
The All Wales Coast Path is within easy reach and the mountain biking centre in the Brechfa Forest is not far. There is white-water canoeing in the nearby town of Llandysul.
