Enjoy peace and beauty by staying in one of our holiday cottages on the Waunifor estate, steeped in history and character and surrounded by lovely countryside we are on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, within easy reach of Pembrokeshire and just 30 minutes drive from the beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our 6 character stone and slate self-catering cottages sleep from 2 to 10 people (accommodating 36 in total) and are ideal for family holidays, re-unions, celebrations or for group bookings. The Longhouse is a listed cottage dating from 1760 and has a magnificent inglenook fireplace with wood-burner, wood panelled dining area and oak beams, 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people, 2 bathrooms and an enclosed garden. Coach-house Mews has an open fire and large cosy lounge, sleeping up to 8 people in 5 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, Carriage Mews is a contemporary style cottage with open plan lounge/kitchen and diner and 3 large bedrooms sleeping six. Stable Cottage is on 2 floors with a beamed living area, large kitchen and 3 bedrooms sleeping six with a downstairs shower in addition to the bathroom and 3 twin bedrooms. Robin Cottage is a cosy home for 4 and Duckpond has one double bedroom sleeping two people.

There is plenty to discover and explore outside amidst the four acres of gardens and grounds including a children's play area, duckpond (fenced off) and stream, small woodland copse, walled garden, paddock and various courtyards, including lots of nooks and crannies. See if you can find the historic bee boles built into one of the walls (where Victorian occupants kept bee hives). Small children may enjoy the children's cabin which contains toys and books to play with.

Several easy walks can be found nearby including the bluebell woods and the old druids path along the banks of the Teifi river, famous for it's salmon and sea-trout. Waunifor is ideally situated for exploring the beaches of Cardigan Bay (30 minutes drive away), the gardens of Carmarthenshire (National Botanic), Aberglasney; Steam engines of Gwili (near Carmarthen) and Teifi Valley Railway and outdoor activities such as kayaking with the Llandysul paddlers or sailing with New Quay watersports.

We also have an on-site pottery where you can learn 'throwing on the wheel' and offer craft workshops including felt making, mosaics, glass painting, jewellery making and also watercolour painting for beginners.
