We, Beth and Carlton, gave up corporate life to open Geufron Hall, a five-star country house B&B with stunning views of the Vale of Llangollen, an area so beautiful it is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a World Heritage Site.

Our ethos is to ensure that guests enjoy the perfect Welsh holiday, so everything is locally sourced whenever possible: this means rearing our own pigs to produce sausages and bacon we can be proud of; keeping hens to ensure that the eggs you eat are as fresh as possible; and growing our own fruit and vegetables to produce fresh fruit juice and smoothies for breakfast, and salad for the supper platters. Our support for local produce extends to the Honesty Bar, which stocks Penderyn whisky, gin, and vodka as well as local beer and Rosie’s cider. The toiletries are made here in Wales and the rooms are decorated with blankets and cushions in traditional Welsh patterns.

We offer four en-suite bedrooms as well as free internet access, a sitting room, dining room and the use of the paved terraces and access to our extensive gardens. We might be small but we offer a genuine alternative to a country house hotel giving our guests a stylish, contemporary home-from-home experience that is unbeatable value for money.

We are a 15-minute walk from the town centre, perfectly placed for you to enjoy the bustling market town of Llangollen as well as the tranquility of the countryside, with a dozen walks starting right outside our front door!
