A cool and trendy burger joint at the popular V&A Waterfront, specialising in gourmet burgers and ribs and over 100 handspun ‘wow’ shakes. Setting out on a quest to create ‘The Best Burger’, we visited the top burger joints in the ‘Burger Capitals of the World’ – Chicago, New York and Las Vegas, and then tapped into the expertise of Belthazar’s Master Butcher, our 27 years’ of experience in making sauces at our SABS HACCP factory, and feedback from hundreds of burger tastings with colleagues, friends and customers.
The result was the creation of ‘the Ultimate Burger’. Surrounding this is a stylish modern setting created by award-winning designer, Adam Court (ex Stefan Antoni). Gibson’s is a spacious ubercool spot with indoor and alfresco dining with views of the harbour, situated just a few doors down from sister restaurants Belthazar and Balducci. The ambience is super-chilled and the service slick.
