Genevieve's is 2 minutes walk from Pub St., the main tourist area of Siem Reap. It serves Cambodian, Asian and Western food at moderate prices. The freshness and quality of the produce used is what stands out at Genevieve's with most meals freshly made as you order them, apart from some pre-prepared sauces and slow cooked meals. These are freshly made each day.
The menu consists of about 5 starters, 15 Cambodian or Asian main courses, 10 Western mains and 5 desserts.
It's not a big menu as our aim is to provide quality with every meal and each ingredient. We do have 2 or 3 comfort meals for those wishing for a break from the traditional Asian and Western fare.
Our staff are all Cambodian and our hiring policy has been to give anyone a go, provided they have some sort of reference and come across as friendly and willing to learn. We opened in 2013 and many of our staff were inexperienced and had no training. We now have a full restaurant most nights, a tribute to the enthusiasm and attention to detail of our lovely staff.
Genevieve's has always tried to connect with and contribute to parts of the community. Our staff share 10% of the profits each month and we pay the bills for Genevieve's Fair Trade Village for disabled artisans, also located in Sok San Rd. Over the years we have contributed financially to a number of schools and organizations. We will continue to do so.
Our restaurant is friendly. professional, and community minded with delicious food. Bookings are often required via email, Facebook or telephone.
