At Bedrock Bar & Grill, diners can look forward to a tantalising ala carte menu that keeps to Bedrock’s philosophy of preparing simple classic dishes with the freshest ingredients. The modern grill restaurant showcases cooking techniques such as wood grilling and smoking. Warm and welcoming, this place is the bedrock of communal spirit, sharing good food and celebrating good times.

One of Bedrock’s signature dishes is the Bedrock Smoked Tomato Soup ($16), made of applewood-smoked sweet tomatoes and served with a touch of basil mascarpone. Other signature choices are the Roasted Bone Marrow ($25) and Baked Camembert ($28) with garlic spread and capers. The Raw & Cured selection delights diners with seasonal Freshly Shucked Oysters paired with red wine-shallot mignonette (market price) and its platter of Spanish Jamon Iberico de Bellota ($49) shaved a la minute at the open kitchen counter.

Bedrock’s chefs work directly with farms in the USA, Australia and Japan for sustainable sourcing of premium meat cuts and ingredients. Meat lovers will be pleased with the range of grain and grass fed steaks, cooked over an applewood fired grill for smoky flavour.

A top seller is the Bedrock Pepper Steak, a NY Steak ($89/300g) served with homemade piquant pepper sauce. Other popular cuts are the Dry-Aged U.S.D.A Prime Ribeye ($99/300g) and U.S.D.A Prime Tenderloin ($89/240g). The latter is a ladies’ favourite for its portion and juicy tenderness. Diners also flock to Bedrock for the Tomahawk Steak, an enormous piece of long bone ribeye steak – probably the biggest in Singapore.

This impressive Tomahawk is a 400-day grain-fed F1 Wagyu steak sourced from Australia, ranging between 1.6kg to 2.5kg (depends on the size of the cut) – and it’s best for sharing! It comes with a choice of red wine sauce, classic Béarnaise, wholegrain whiskey mustard, Chimichurri sauce and homemade Bedrock chilli oil. Pick from a variety of sides such as the Bedrock Mac & Cheese ($20), Black Truffle Fries ($16) or Sautéed Mushrooms ($18) to complement the scrumptious meal.

Besides steaks, the menu also offers other fine selections like the Free Range Pork Porterhouse ($59) and Barramundi ($38) with confit potato, tomato and lemon vinaigrette Burger lovers will adore the gourmet Chopped Steak Burger ($38), a 100% U.S.D.A prime Angus beef patty cradled between bacon, fried egg and oak-smoked aged cheddar, served with fries. Vegetarians can treat themselves to the vegetarian “Steak” Diane ($32) – a grilled meaty mushroom served with truffle fries. A must-order dessert is the Apple Crumble for 2 ($26) of oven-baked apples, walnut streusel and vanilla ice cream.
